About Us

I am now retired, and moved to Napier 6 years ago. Maison Blue is my home which I make available to discerning travellers for short term stays, often when I am off travelling. You have the exclusive use of the guest wing, during your stay.

As your host, I take pleasure in making sure my guest's stay is memorable. I have worked in tourism for many years, and I am an experienced and seasoned traveller, having visited all seven continents. I understand guests needs and happy to help you maximize your time in and around Napier. Just bring your suitcase and camera, enjoy my home, and the views.

I am absolutely passionate about Napier and enjoy assisting my guests make the most of their time while in Napier. There are many hidden secrets The Bay has to offer and I am happy to point you in the right direction.

I can also organise Airport Transfers and cruise ship excursions for you.

Hawke's Bay Airport is less than10 minutes from Napier's city centre and Maison Blue. Napier will be welcoming over 80 cruise ships this season. I live close to the port and can quickly whisk you away to maximize your time in this fantastic City.

• Enjoy Cape Kidnappers, the world’s largest mainland Gannet Colony.

It is an excellent base for your next east coast Napier escape where you will discover there’s much more to the Hawkes Bay than wine and sunshine.

We loved your home - it’s in a great locaton. At your recommendation we ate at 3 Doors up (needed a booking) Boardwalk, and EastPier – all good and different. Hiked Te Mata Peak, had lunch at Black Barn winery – we highly recommend both of these. Enjoyed touring Napier ... went part way to Cape Kidnappers.
